I have successfully used the Beard Trimmer Attachment for trimming my neck and for trimming my whole beard. It does a great job, and I do not need an entirely different tool. I just snap on the EasyClick attachment and trim.
It cuts the hair evenly and does not have much tug. I only experience one bit of tugging when I was moving the trimmer too quickly. So, just go slow with it.
I am not normally a beard guy, and I do not grow a very impressive beard. For people like me, the Beard Trimmer attachment from Braun does exactly what it needs to do. I occasionally grow a beard for “No Shave November” or some other event, but I only end up needing to trim a beard once or twice a year. That is why the attachment is so nice.
The Braun Series 7, 7185 includes the beard trimmer attachment, plus it includes the regular shaving head, a beard stubble trimmer attachment, and a cleaning station. The stubble trimmer is excellent by the way.
