Philips Norelco 9400 Review

I love what Philips Norelco has done with the 9400 shaver. They removed the lights from the Philips Norelco 9800 and left out the cleaning station. This move allowed the 9400 shaver to come in at the mid-range price. Now you can get a very good shaver in the middle price point. The 9400 has also claimed a spot in my top shavers at any price range.

No surprises with the Philips Norelco 9400 shaver. It did a great job.

Closeness

The Philips Norelco 9400 gets a closer shave than the lower priced shavers from Philips Norelco. I would say it gets nearly as close as a blade.

Comfort

It feels good while shaving. There was no noticeable tugging or pulling of hairs on my face. The only challenge is getting under the nose, so I have to turn the shaver to the side in order to get a good shaver right under the nose.

Irritation

There is a small bit of redness right after the shave, but that goes away fairly quickly and I was left with no rashes or bump. Thus, the irritation was minimal.
