Closeness

The shaver got the expected level of closeness for a budget shaver. It is not as close as a blade, and more expensive shavers will get a closer shave.

Comfort

The comfort was only ok. Shaving my cheeks was comfortable and the neck was so-so. The real problem was on the upper lip.

It was uncomfortable on my upper lip. The shaver got snagged a few times and pulled on my hairs.

Irritation

The razor did leave me with some irritation for the remainder of the day. It was gone by the next morning.

Conclusion

The Rategist performed ok for its price. It does shave, and if your hair grows slow, you might be fine with it. For someone whom needs to shaver every day or every other day, the Rategist will probably leave your face very irritated. My honest opinion is to spend a little more on a shaver and get something better.

It is important to remember budget shavers do not perform as well as mid-priced or elite shavers. Overall, there are some better choices for a budget-friendly shaver.
