The Braun Series 9 Pro shaver is definitely an elite shaver. It has enough power to handle multiple days between shaves, yet still remains comfortable. It is definitely a step up from the other Braun shavers. It does have a higher price than many other shavers.

The Braun Series 9 Pro is an excellent shaver with enough power to handle a 5-7 day beard.
I think it is the most powerful shaver available.
The only struggle with the Braun Series 9 Pro is: some people experience difficulties with shaving the neck. When I struggle to shave my neck with a Braun, I turn the shaver and shave in a horizontal motion.
Comfort
The Braun Series 9 Pro feels very comfortable considering the power it has. It cuts the hairs quickly so you do not feel any pulling on the skin. The cutting surfaces have plenty of flex so the shaver can easily move across your face.
Closeness
The closeness of the Braun Series 9 Pro is another reason (in addition to the power) why the Series 9 Pro is elite. It gets a shave as close as using a blade.
Irritation
Of all the Shavers, the Braun Series 9 Pro leaves the least redness right after the shave and has virtually no long-term irritation.
Braun Series 9 Pro PowerCase
The PowerCase is a great idea. It is both a solid protective case and a battery pack. The charging travel case can hold enough power to provide a 50% charge for the Braun Series 9. That means, without bringing a charging cord, you can get 1.5 times the charging power. The Braun Series 9 Pro can hold enough power for 60 minutes of shaving time. So, traveling with the PowerCase, can provide 90 minutes of shaving time. At approximately 5 minutes per shave, that provides 18 shaves.
Is the PowerCase worth it?
If you travel for extended periods of time, the PowerCase will be very useful. For me, I do not ever travel long enough to need 18 shaves.
So, the PowerCase is cool, but it is not a necessity for most people.
