Brio Zero Blade Review

Brio Zero Blade next to the Shaver Dude Logo

The Brio Zero Blade takes beard trimming to a whole new level. A whole new shortness level. The Zero Blade trims hair to 0.2 mm which is as short as trimming gets before it becomes a smooth shave. This saves your face from the irritation of a close shave, yet still leaves you looking well-groomed.

The Zero Blade attaches to either the Brio Beardscape or the Beardscape v2.

Shaver Dude Quick Thoughts

“The Brio Zero Blade is the shortest possible trim. It is not a smooth shave but a very short stubble. Perfect for people looking to avoid the irritation of a smooth shave but still maintain a well-kept look.”

If you want a short, but not smooth shave, with absolutely no irritation, then this is the trimmer attachment for you.

Performance

Closeness

The Zero Blade does not get a smooth shave, but it is not intended for that. It gets the shortest stubble shave available.

Comfort

It is very comfortable while trimming. There is no tugging or pulling of hairs. It did not snag or catch. It just cut very consistently.

Irritation

None! I believe this is part of the purpose for the Zero Blade. It cuts hair very short, but it does not cut close enough to irritate the skin.

By The Numbers

  • 0.2 mm – The Zero Blade cuts hair to 0.2 mm.
  • 4 years – expected lifespan of the Zero Blade

What is Included?

In the Box

a look inside the box of the Brio Zero Blade, it is just the Zero Blade

The box simply contains the Zero Blade. Oh, and an insert with instructions for installation and support contact information. See Below.

A small piece of paper with Brio Zero Blade Documentation, includes instructions to connect the zero blade and support contact information

Brio Zero Blade Documentation

There are 4 steps required for installation.

Plus, the documentation includes an email address for support and a phone number for support.

The Box

The box is very minimal. A picture and the title on the front followed by a short description on the back. That is it.

Conclusion

Overall, the Zero Blade performs excellent for its intended purpose. Because it attaches to the Brio Beardscape, it has plenty of power.

If you do not need a smooth shave and you want to avoid the irritation of shaving, the Zero Blade is an excellent choice.
