Closeness

It does get a very close shave. This is as close as any other body groomer I have tried.

Note: The OneBlade Intimate does include a 3mm comb for trimming of hair, but I think the OneBlade Intimate is better suited for a smooth shave.

Comfort

It is comfortable while shaving. I recommend using the white Skin Guard on the blade. It protects your skin, but I also think it results in a closer shave because it tilts the blade slightly.

Irritation

Irritation is minimal. Just be careful if you have any skin tags because then you could experience some discomfort.
