Braun Series 9 Pro+ Review

The Braun Series 9 Pro+ is definitely an elite shaver. It performs well with a very close shave. And the new Pro+ has an upgraded trimmer.

Braun Series 9 Pro+ Performance

Truly, the Series 9 Pro+ performs as well as any other shaver.

Closeness

This is as close a shave as you can get. It gets as close as a blade going against the grain. Very, Very, close.

Comfort

The 9 Pro+ is extremely comfortable while shaving. It glides well across the jawbone. The only real tricky spot is the neck. I find turning the shaver sideways and shaving left to right works well for the hairs on my neck.

Irritation

There is some redness after the shave, but it does not last. I do not have any burning or rash afterward.

The head of the 9 Pro+ has 5 cutting surfaces when you look close.

There are many different configurations available. I chose the 9599cc which has almost all the accessories possible, so I will try to highlight those here.

The Box

Technically, model 9599cc comes with 2 boxes inside a larger box. One box with the shaver, and another box with the PowerCase.

So, the Braun 9599cc includes the Braun 9597cc shaver and the PowerCase.
