Shaver Dude Quick Thoughts

“For a budget-friendly electric razor in a travel size, I was impressed with the Tulzim.”

Tulzim Mini Razor

A good quality travel shaver with a low-price tag and very solid performance.

Tulzim Mini Razor Performance

Just getting the shaver, I had fairly low expectations, but I was overly impressed with the performance.

Closeness

The shave was definitely in-line with the closeness of other budget-friendly shavers. It gets a close shave, although not as close as a blade.

Comfort

I found the shaving experience quite comfortable. I only experience 2 instances of tugging when I was moving the shaver too quickly. Just move the shaver slowly and you will be just fine.

Irritation

Honestly, I expected some irritation from the Tulzim, but I was careful to shave slowly, and I ended up with very little irritation. All the irritation I had was a little redness right after the shave.

The Tulzim is a foil shaver with 3 cutting surfaces. It has 2 foil shavers on the outside and a trimmer for longer hair in the middle.

Conclusion

Overall, I thought the Tulzim Mini Razor was better than I hoped. The shave was fairly close; it did not leave me with an irritated neck, and it was small in size. Not only is it a good option for travel, but it is definitely a contender for one of my favorite budget-friendly shavers.

My Tulzim mini-razor is causing me significant irritation. How can I submit a warranty claim

I am sorry to hear that. Easiest way is to return to where you purchased it.

Shaver Dude, My wife bought me a Tulzim Mini for my birthday in June to replace a Braun that I had left in Europe in May. When I opened the present, I was like, “…oh, boy….make sure to seem pleased…cool! thanks, Honey!” but I had some serious doubts. However, your review is spot-on. I love this thing – it shaves quickly and closely, does not irritate when used with a light touch, charges quickly (I have plugged it into both my laptop and my cellphone chargers), and holds the charge for several shaves. Just used it this morning to shave two days of holiday weekend growth; took less than 5 minutes. I use a cheap ‘ol rotary shaver with a pop-up blade to do my sideburns, when needed. I am planning on buying two more Tulzims as presents for my two sons.

Do you know if you can buy replacement blades for this razor and if so, where and how often should you change them?

I am not sure if replacement blades are available, but most electric shavers recommend replacements after 18-24 months.
